Copying a shift in Employee Schedules

Copying a selected shift creates new shift that is exactly like the original shift that you created in Employee Schedules screen.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the screen, select Access your applications ( main menu icon ).
    The menu expands.

  2. Select Labor > Scheduling.
    The Employee Schedules screen appears.

    Note: When you first access the Employee Schedules screen, you must select jobs for which to display scheduling information.

  1. To copy the shift, do one of the following:

    • Press Ctrl+C.

    • Right-click the cell and select Copy.

    • In the shift operations section, select the Copy button ( copy ). 

  2. Select the cell where you want to paste the copied shift.

  3. To paste the shift, do one of the following:

    • Press Ctrl+V.

    • Right-click the cell and select Paste.

    • In the shift operations section, select the Paste into button (  ).

    The shift is added to the cell.
