Correcting rejected punches in the Time Card

Time Clocks reject employee punches when the punch doesn't match the established criteria. For example, if your property has configured a Schedule Lock Out work rule and the employee tries to punch in when not scheduled, the punch is stored as a rejection. You can then override the rejection. Punches that are unavailable for selection cannot be overridden because it would violate the integrity of the database.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the screen, select Access your applications ( main menu icon ).
    The menu expands.

  2. Select T&A > Review Pay Period.
    The Review Pay Period screen appears.

  1. Double-click an employee row.
    The employee's Review Time Card screen opens in a separate tab.

  1. If necessary, expand () the details section at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Select the Rejected Punches tab.
    The resulting table displays the rejected punches.

  3. Select the check box for the rejected punch you want to override.

  4. Select Override Selected Punches.
    The rejected punch is cleared from the Rejected Punches table and appears in the Time Card.
