Default Hourly Rates

The Default Hourly Rates configuration screen allows you to set the default base wage for a Job. When adding a new job for an employee in Employee Maintenance, it is helpful to have the default base wage rate entered automatically.

Fields on the Default Hourly Rates screen

Field	Description
Default Hourly Rates	Designate the job's wage rate which will be used when adding a new Job to an employee record in Employee Maintenance. If no Default Hourly Rate is entered, the Minimum Wage will be used.
Effective Rates	Displays the wage rate that is currently being used for the job. If the Default Hourly Rate is changed, the EffectiveRate for that job will reflect the new default rate.
