Editing units and rates in the KBI Projections screen

If necessary, you can edit units and rates in the KBI Projections screen.

Note: Although KBIs on the KBI Projections screen can be edited, the main purpose of the screen is to review KBIs after imports and recalculations to ensure accuracy. As a best practice, KBIs should be configured and edited in the Forecast Structure screen.

Note: If your KBI is configured to be a capture ratio, for example, in some instances you will need to edit the rate in to effectively determine your expected revenue for each period.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the screen, select Access your applications ( main menu icon ).
    The menu expands.

  2. Select FinancialBudgeting.
    The Budgeting Dashboard screen appears.

  1. In the Budgeting menu pane, select KBI Projections (  icon  ).
    The KBI Projections screen appears.

  1. If necessary, select the desired Data Display, Selected KBIs, and Market Segment Types.

  2. In the table, edit the units and rates as necessary.
The amount that you enter is distributed appropriately for your selected data display. For example, if you are using an annual data display and enter a value of 365 (based on a 365-day calendar year), the value is distributed as 1 per day in a daily data display.
