Unmapping a glitch description from properties

Unmapping a property allows you to adjust or remove outdated or incorrect glitch descriptions that no longer apply.

For example, previously, a hotel offered a coffee vending machine for guests. If the machine malfunctioned during a guest's stay, the hotel staff would report a glitch with the description: "Coffee vending machine not working." However, the hotel has removed the coffee vending machine and discontinued this service. As a result, the glitch description "Coffee vending machine not working" is now irrelevant and should be discarded.

To update their list of glitch descriptions, the hotel needs to unmap the property associated with "Coffee vending machine not working" and then delete the obsolete description.

  1. From the main menu on the left side of the screen, select System Configuration (). The User Console screen appears.
  2. Select Glitch Configuration () > Glitch Manager.
