Importing actuals in the Budget Tree screen

You import P&L Actuals into the Budgeting application to compare actuals against your budget. Financial officers and administrators typically import P&L actuals once a month, after the prior month's financials have been finalized. Importing P&L Actuals allows you to generate a flex budget so that you can evaluate your budget performance based on your assumptions.

Note: Flex budgets are used to analyze and compare your actual volumes and units against your budget assumptions. After recalculating based on these assumptions and actuals, flex budgets can potentially highlight flaws in budgeting methodology and/or operations.
