The table below defines terms that appear throughout the Maintenance software.

Assets |
Physical items, equipment, or property components owned or used by a hotel or hospitality establishment to support its operations and provide services to guests. |

PM |
Preventive maintenance—The regular and routine maintenance of equipment and assets to keep them running and prevent any costly unplanned downtime from unexpected equipment failure. A PM will trigger a work order (WO) for each asset included in a PM. |

WO |
Work order—A request or task created to initiate, assign, and track maintenance or repair activities. WOs can be created manually, triggered by PM schedules, or created by integration with Service. |
