Notifications Setup screen

On the Notifications Setup screen, you can create, configure, and manage notifications. All notifications appear in the Configured Notifications list on this screen.

Controls

Priority

Filter the screen by notifications with the selected priority level. Options include:

  • All

  • High

  • Normal

Order By

Sort the screen by the following options:

  • Time of Creation

  • Alphabetical

Notification Category

Filter the screen by notifications with the selected notification category. Options include:

  • All—Displays all categories.

  • Variance—Displays the options for comparisons of two types of hours.

Note:Currently, the only available category is Variance. New categories will be added in future releases.

Notification Type

Filter the screen by notifications with the selected notification type. Options include:

  • All

  • Actual vs. Budget Dataset—Variance between actual hours and budgeted hours for a chosen budget dataset.

  • Actual vs. Scheduled—Variance between actual hours and scheduled hours.

  • Scheduled vs. Projected—Variance between scheduled hours and projected hours.

  • Actual vs. Standard—Variance between actual hours and standard hours.

Created By

Filter the screen to display only notifications that were created by the selected user.

Opens the Advanced Filter Options dialog box, where you select the Labor Structure Type:

  • All

  • Master

  • Property

Create Notification

Opens the Create New Notification wizard, where you create a new notification.



Configured Notifications

Notification details

This text includes the following information about the notification:

  • Name/code

  • Creation date

  • View Data For information

  • Category

  • Type

  • Labor Structure

  • Notification creator

  • Affected property

Read-only.

Priority Status

Priority status of the notification. Options include:

  • Low Priority

  • High Priority

Read-only.

Recipients

Displays the number of notification recipients.

Read-only.

View Details

Opens the Notification Details pane, which displays read-only information about the selected notification.

Hover over the ellipsis button ( button ) and select one of the following options:

  • Edit—Opens the Edit Notification dialog box, where you edit the selected notification.

  • Duplicate—Opens the Duplicate Notification dialog box, where you duplicate the selected notification and edit as necessary.

  • Delete—Opens a dialog box, where you can delete the selected notification.

Showing ___ out of ___ items

Text that describes the number of displayed notifications out of the total number of created notifications.

Read-only.

Page navigation controls

The central buttons indicate the number of pages. The highlighted button indicates which page you are viewing. Either select a page number button or use the previous and next buttons to navigate through the pages.

If there is only one page of notifications, the previous and next buttons are unavailable.
