Post Punch
Post Punch work rules allows you to ask an employee a question on the Time Clock after they punch in, and based on the employee's response, add an earning if appropriate.
The Post Punch work rule type includes the following work rules:
No Op Post Punch

Prompt For Fixed Hours Earning
Description |
Asks the employee a question at the Time Clock. If the response to the question is "No", a fixed amount earning is created. |

If selected, an in punch prompts the message. |

Min Hours Worked |
Minimum hours that must be worked before the rule is triggered. If the employee works fewer hours than the configured minimum, the work rule does not apply. |

Max Hours Worked |
Maximum hours that can be worked to trigger the work rule. If the employee works more hours than the configured maximum, the work rule does not apply. Default: 24 |

Pre-shift screening validation |
If selected, the employee will not be prompted to complete a post punch questionnaire if they have completed a pre-shift screening survey prior to arrival. |

If selected, an out punch prompts the message. |

Priority |
Priority used to determine execution order within a rule set. Lower numbers will execute first. Unless specified, all rules default to a priority value of 5. |

Resource Message Map |
Select the language in which to display the question on the Time Clock. |

Use Shift Date for Earning |
Use the shift date instead of the punch date for the earning. If shift date can not be used, punch date will be used as default. |

Use Shift Hours on Out Punch |
If selected, the shift's net hours on out punch will be used for checking minimum hours, rather than the net hours on the day. |

Check for Rejected Punches |
If selected, the work rule uses both approved and rejected punches to calculate shift length. Default: Clear |
Under-Reported Tips On Out Punch
Description |
Prompts the employee to acknowledge that they have under-reported their tips. This message displays when the employee punches out. |

Missing Meal Break
Description |
Alert an employee, upon out punch, that they are missing meal break punches, and allow them to manually enter the break. Note: This feature is not compatible with the Mobile App. |

Description |

Schedule Validation Attestation
Description |
Prompts the employee to acknowledge that their punch times do not match their scheduled shift times. An earning is then applied to the time card. Use Punch Validation work rules to specify time frames for when employees are locked out of the Time Clock and when they receive warning notifications on the Time Clock screens. |

Post Punch Limit |
Period of time (in hours) after an unscheduled In punch that RMS searches to detect scheduled shifts. If there are no scheduled shifts during the Post Punch Limit time frame, employees can punch in for the unscheduled shift. If employees have scheduled shifts during the Post Punch Limit time frame, they cannot punch in unless they are within the shift lockout grace period. Example: If you want the time period to be 15 minutes, enter 0.25. |

Pre Punch Limit |
Period of time (in hours) before an unscheduled in-punch that RMS searches to detect scheduled shifts. If there are no scheduled shifts during the Pre Punch Limit time frame, employees can punch in for the unscheduled shift. If employees have scheduled shifts during the Pre Punch Limit time frame, they cannot punch in unless they are within the shift lockout grace period. Example: If you want the time period to be 15 minutes, enter 0.25. |

If the check box is selected, the system will use the actual time that the employee punched in to calculate the break start time. If the check box is clear, the system will use the rounded punch time. |
