Improvement

Sender name for email alerts updated to Unifocus Alert

As part of ongoing brand alignment efforts, the sender name for all system-generated email alerts has been updated from Knowcross Alert to Unifocus Alert.

Key details:

  • This update only changes the display name of the sender.

  • The content, frequency, and recipients of email alerts remain unchanged.

  • No action is required unless you have inbox rules or allow lists based on the previous sender name.

Recommended action:

If you use email filters, allow lists, or notification rules that reference “Knowcross Alert,” you should update them to recognize “Unifocus Alert” to avoid disruptions.

Why this change was made:

This update supports Unifocus’s brand unification and improves the visibility and consistency of system communications.

New Feature

Drill-through functionality in Housekeeping Dashboard

This release of the Housekeeping Dashboard includes drill-through functionality in charts. Clicking a chart element (bar, pie slice, line, and so on) opens a table with more details and information related to that specific data point in the chart.

Improvement

Improvement in task type assignment logic

In this release of Housekeeping, you can add multiple reservation specials under the Add Rule in the Facility Management Rules. The system will then assign the task type considering the combinations of the multiple reservation specials added.

You can access this option from DB Setup by selecting the Facility Management Rules.

New Feature

Inspection Efficiency report

This Housekeeping release introduces the Inspection Efficiency report to help managers and supervisors track inspection performance for all task types. The report includes:

  • Total Rooms versus Inspected—Compares assigned rooms to the inspected rooms.

  • Inspection timeliness—Displays inspections completed before and after a selected cut-off time.

  • Timeliness percentages—Displays inspected percentage of before and after cut-off time.

  • Filters—Filter by task type, cut-off time, and date range.

Housekeeping Dashboard

This release introduces the Housekeeping Dashboard, which provides at-a-glance information to improve the monitoring and management of housekeeping operations. The dashboard offers a unified view of crucial metrics, including room cleaning times, inspection pass/fail rates, cleaning delays by room type, and trends in service performance. By providing these insights, the Housekeeping Dashboard helps optimize cleaning efficiency, improve inspection consistency, and enable more effective resource allocation and scheduling.

You can access the Housekeeping Dashboard from a new Housekeeping Analytics menu option in the Housekeeping software.

With the Housekeeping Dashboard, you can do the following:

  • View operational KPIs—Track key performance indicators related to housekeeping efficiency, inspection success, and cleaning times.

  • View and interact with charts for various metrics—Visualize important metrics such as cleaning times, inspection trends, and cleaning delays with easy-to-read charts.

  • Customize charts—Tailor the data displayed in the charts to focus on specific room types, cleaning tasks, or time periods that matter most to your operations.

  • Add, edit, and delete scheduled notifications from the calendar () icon—Set, manage, and modify notifications to stay informed about key housekeeping updates, such as delayed cleaning or failed inspections.

  • Export the view as an image, PDF, or Excel file from the export () icon—Export your dashboard data as an image, PDF, or Excel file for easy sharing and reporting.

Note: Housekeeping Dashboard is available only to users with Reports access. Users must have the Create Housekeeping Reports role enabled. For more information, contact your Unifocus Client Success Manager (CSM).

Improvements to Core Data Upload and Housekeeping

This release includes the following improvements:

  • Multilingual data in Core Data Upload module—You can now import multilingual data for various modules, including Department, Designations, Skills, Service Action Reasons, Job Manager, Glitch Action Reasons, and Glitch Manager.

  • Split credits by task type in Housekeeping—A new setting allows credits to be split by task type in Housekeeping. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and accuracy in managing task sheets, especially in setups involving multiple teams such as Porters, Minibar, Window Cleaners, and Linen Teams.

This release features various improvements and new features:

  • Rebranding of the Housekeeping mobile app.

  • System Configuration: Checklist upload in Housekeeping—import data.

  • Housekeeping Room Selection screen: Task sheet filters change—previous task type, time occupied, and time vacant.

  • Auto Job Manager.

  • Maintenance: Bulk flow, cancel option; print work order with images attached.

Housekeeping Translation Manager, rebranding, and Maintenance enhancements

This release includes the following new features and enhancements:

  • The new Housekeeping Translation Manager, which enables you to translate content within the software to any licensed language.

  • Rebranding of Housekeeping and Inspection web applications.

  • Maintenance enhancements: extended park functionality, priority work orders, action reasons mapping, and email alerts.

Improvements

Housekeeping configuration revamp, tech upgrade, and unified branding

With this release, the Customer Admin Portal is no longer required to configure the Housekeeping data points: zones, locations, sections, and user groups. You can now use the configuration component of the software to configure them.

This release also includes unified icons across our Operations suite, along with updated colors and logos in Service, Glitch, and Guests modules.

Housekeeping and Inspection roles and rights are now configurable in the software

With this release, Silverlight is no longer required to create roles for Housekeeping and Inspection. You can now use the configuration component of the software to create and manage Housekeeping and Inspection roles and rights.
