New Square Footage Requirement setting in Housekeeping

This release of Housekeeping introduces a new Square Footage Requirement setting to better manage workload distribution and credit allocation.

Key Details:

  • Configurable Setting: Option to enable/disable Square Footage Requirement.

  • Extra Credit Configuration: Defines additional credit value (positive integer) for tasks spanning multiple sections/floors.

  • Max Credit Limit: Sets a maximum credit cap for each task sheet.

  • Smart Alerts: Notifies when:

    • A task move exceeds max credit.

    • A task introduces a new section/floor and adds extra credit.

    • Both occur simultaneously.

  • Task Sheet Footer Update: Section details now displayed along total credits and zones.

This enhancement ensures fair credit calculation, transparency for users, and configurable flexibility for properties.

Sender name for email alerts updated to Unifocus Alert

As part of ongoing brand alignment efforts, the sender name for all system-generated email alerts has been updated from Knowcross Alert to Unifocus Alert.

Key details:

  • This update only changes the display name of the sender.

  • The content, frequency, and recipients of email alerts remain unchanged.

  • No action is required unless you have inbox rules or allow lists based on the previous sender name.

Recommended action:

If you use email filters, allow lists, or notification rules that reference “Knowcross Alert,” you should update them to recognize “Unifocus Alert” to avoid disruptions.

Why this change was made:

This update supports Unifocus’s brand unification and improves the visibility and consistency of system communications.

New Feature

Drill-through functionality in Housekeeping Dashboard

This release of the Housekeeping Dashboard includes drill-through functionality in charts. Clicking a chart element (bar, pie slice, line, and so on) opens a table with more details and information related to that specific data point in the chart.

Improvement

Improvement in task type assignment logic

In this release of Housekeeping, you can add multiple reservation specials under the Add Rule in the Facility Management Rules. The system will then assign the task type considering the combinations of the multiple reservation specials added.

You can access this option from DB Setup by selecting the Facility Management Rules.

Inspection Efficiency report

This Housekeeping release introduces the Inspection Efficiency report to help managers and supervisors track inspection performance for all task types. The report includes:

  • Total Rooms versus Inspected—Compares assigned rooms to the inspected rooms.

  • Inspection timeliness—Displays inspections completed before and after a selected cut-off time.

  • Timeliness percentages—Displays inspected percentage of before and after cut-off time.

  • Filters—Filter by task type, cut-off time, and date range.
