New job screen
Use the New job screen to register new service requests and schedule recurring jobs.
Fields on the New job screen

Select property |
Select the property for the job. |
This option is available only if you have access to multiple properties. |
Requested by guest / Requested by staff |
Select an option to report the source of the job. |

Location |
Select the location where the job will be performed. |

Guest |
Select the name of the guest who requested the job. |
Required. This field is available only if Requested by guest is selected. |
Category |
Select a category for the job. The category determines which employees can be assigned to the job and filters the Description options. |

Description |
Select the description that best matches the job to be performed. |
Available options are dependent on configuration. |
Remarks |
Enter any relevant information that was not captured by previous fields. To expand the text box, select the pop-out icon ( |

Add multiple |
Select this icon to register multiple jobs at once. |
Complete all fields for the current job before selecting Add multiple. Selecting Add multiple will clear all fields to allow you to enter information for the new job. |
Urgency |
Select the urgency for the job. For example, a spill or exposed wiring can result in injury and is therefore very urgent. General maintenance tasks, such as replacing HVAC filters, while important, are often less urgent. |

Assign |
Choose whether the job should be assigned automatically by the software or if you want to manually assign an employee to the task. |

Status |
Select whether you want to register the request as an Open job, Closed job, or Parked job. |

Reported by |
Select the individual who reported the service request. |

Register |
Register the job(s) to the Job console. |

Clear |
Clear all fields. |

Recurrence |
Open the Recurrence pattern dialog box where you can configure the job to repeat on a regular schedule. |
