Sorting and filtering the Job console
The Job console is a highly customizable screen that can be configured to suit your individual needs. By using the features described below, you can change the view to meet your personal preferences.
Filtering by property
If your account has access to multiple properties, you can filter the Job console to display only jobs for selected properties.

Select Select properties (
).

In the resulting drop-down list, select the checkboxes for properties for which you want to view jobs.

Select Save.
The console updates to display only jobs for the selected properties.
Viewing all jobs assigned to you

Select My view, and then select Assigned to me.
The console updates to display only jobs that are assigned to you.
Viewing all jobs logged by you

Select My view, and then select Logged by me.
The console updates to display only jobs that you registered.
Saving a view
You can save a set of preferences as a view. The next time you load the screen, your preferred sort and filter options will be automatically applied.

Select My view, and then select Save view.
Your preferences are saved and will be applied automatically the next time you access the screen.
Loading a saved view

To load a previously saved view, select Load view.
Filtering by status
To filter the console by status, do one of the following:

Select All to view all jobs, open and closed.

Select OPN to view open jobs.

Select UNS to view unassigned jobs.

Select PRK to view parked jobs.

Select SNL to view jobs for which the assigned staff member is not logged in.

Select CLS to view closed jobs.
Searching the console
You can search for a job by entering keywords, such as a guest's name, employee's name, location, or description, in the Search bar.

Type a keyword in the Search bar.
Suggestions appear below the Search bar. -
Select one of the suggestions or press Enter or Return on your keyboard.
The console updates to show jobs matching your entry.
Grouping jobs in expandable rows
Grouping jobs allows you to quickly see all jobs associated with a certain location, section, assignment, department, category, description, or property.
For example, a guest complained of a sharp drop in temperature in room 217. You can group jobs by location and expand the row for 217 to quickly see if the room has a history of A/C maintenance jobs.

To group jobs, select the Grouping drop-down menu, and then select Location, Section, Assigned to, Department, Categories, Descriptions, or Property.
The console updates to display the collapsed rows.
Removing groupings

To remove groupings, select Clear Grouping (
).
The console updates to display ungrouped jobs.
Filtering jobs with the Filters dialog box
The Filters dialog box can help you to reduce the number of visible records by applying any combination of multiple filters.

Select Filters (
).
The Filters dialog box appears. -
Using the drop-down menus and radio buttons, select the filters that you want to apply.

Location
Show jobs for the selected locations.
Category
Show jobs matching the selected categories.
Department
Show jobs assigned to the selected departments.
Assign To
Show jobs assigned to the selected employees.
Tagged staff
Show jobs on which the selected employees are tagged.
Reported by
Show jobs reported by the selected employees.
Logged by
Show jobs logged by the selected employees.
Section
Show jobs assigned to the selected sections.
VIP
Show jobs involving guests of the selected VIP statuses.
Source
Select whether you want to view jobs that were reported by a Guest, by Staff, or All jobs.
Attachments
Select whether you want to view jobs with attachments, without attachments, or All jobs.
Escalated
Select whether you want to view jobs that have been escalated, that have not been escalated, or All jobs.
Job Type
Select whether you want to view Maintenance jobs, Service jobs, or All jobs.
Apply
Applies your changes and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without applying your changes.

Select Apply.
The dialog box closes, and the console updates to display record that match your selected filters.
Changing the sort order
You can change the order in which jobs appear on the console using the Sort by drop-down menu.

Select Sort by (
).

Choose one of the following sort options:

Attachment

Escalated
-
Job no. asc
-
Job no. desc
-
Logged date/time.

Priority
-
Remarks
-
Updated date/time.
The console updates based on your selection.

Moving between pages on the console

To move between pages of the console, do one of the following:

Select the left arrow (
) to go to the previous page.
-
Select the right arrow (
) to go to the next page.
-
Select the left-facing double arrow (
) to go to Page 1.
-
Select the right-facing double arrow (
) to go to the last page.

Note: The total records count appears at the right of the pagination headers.
