Once the Unifocus software has been installed, the modules must be configured for your property. Some modules share configuration with other modules, and some have configurations that are specific to that module. Depending on which modules you own and how they are structured, you may not see all the configuration types. 

Exploring the Work Area

Working with panes

Many of the configuration screens have multiple panes. Unless otherwise noted, the column(s) on the left list the top-level items, and the last column on the right displays the details about the item. Any columns in between contain a breakdown of the top-level item into sub-items.

At the bottom of the panes, you may see some icons or buttons to Add, Edit, Delete, and/or Menu. Click on the appropriate icon to perform the desired action.

Working with tables

Many of the configuration screens have a table. By default, the table is not able to be edited. Select Enable Editing at the top of the screen to enable the other controls and make changes within the table.

Working with panes

Some configuration screens have two panes. The left pane contains a list of top-level items. Select an item from the list to view and edit details in the left pane. 

Working with cards

Some configuration screens contain multiple cards for each configured item. Each item can be edited or deleted directly from the card.
