Unifocus Desktop Launcher (for Windows)
The Unifocus Desktop Launcher enables users who do not have Java-capable browsers to launch Unifocus software. This documentation provides instructions on the following:
Note: Sign-on steps might vary for different users. If your company is using Single Sign On (SSO), after you enter your Partner Code, you will be directed to your company's unique sign-on screen.
Installing the Unifocus Desktop Launcher
Note: These steps were written for Google Chrome. The installation steps might vary depending on which browser you are using.

Open a web browser and go to the following URL: https://downloads.unifocus.com/desktop-app/
The resulting prompts and dialog boxes vary depending on which browser you are using. You might have the option to run immediately, or you might have to save the executable file first and then run it.
The file downloads, and the progress is displayed at the bottom of the browser window. -
When the download is complete, select the arrow ( ) next to the file name (at the bottom of the window) and select Open from the drop-down menu.
A dialog box appears. It displays the installation progress.
When the installation is complete, the following results occur:The installation dialog box closes.
The Unifocus Sign In screen appears.
A Unifocus Desktop Applications icon appears on the desktop of your primary computer monitor ( ).

On the Sign in screen, enter your Partner Code.
Note: The first time you sign in to the Sign In screen, you must enter a partner code, login ID, and password. Subsequent sign-ins require only a login ID and password. If you do not know your partner code, contact your Unifocus Client Success Manager (CSM).

Select Next.

Enter your Login ID and Password.

Select Sign in.

Select the module/database to sign in to.
Desktop Launcher processes application dependencies to verify that you have the latest version of the software.
When the process is complete, the Unifocus software opens.
Opening Unifocus software from the desktop icon
After you have installed the Unifocus Desktop Launcher, you open Unifocus software using the desktop icon.

On your desktop, double-click the Unifocus Desktop Applications icon ( ).
Unifocus software checks for updates, and the Sign In screen appears. -
Enter your Login ID and Password.
The software opens in a separate window.Note: The window in which the Unifocus software opens is an application window; it is not part of the browser.
