Overview of dynamic task sheets

Using Dynamic Task Sheet Editor (DTSE) is different from the default Task Sheet Editor (TSE). The TSE checks the condition of the rooms when you create the task sheets. It creates tasks for the locations based on that moment.

The DTSE creates tasks based on the conditions when you created the task sheet. However, it continues to monitor the interface and automatically creates new tasks based on your filters.

With dynamic task sheets, one or multiple attendants can be assigned to the same list. Room attendants see the same rooms on their own device and pick up the room they choose to clean. Rooms or locations are organized by the cleaning sequence applicable and restrictions set within.

Example 1: All occupied and arrival rooms require turndown service.

Using the TSE, the software checks all rooms to determine whether they are either occupied or have an expected arrival. Rooms that do not match this filter will be excluded. If a new reservation is made after creation of the task sheets, rooms must be manually added to the sheet.

Using the DTSE, the software checks all rooms to determine whether they are either occupied or have an expected arrival. Rooms that do not match this filter will be excluded. If a new reservation is made and has been allocated to a room after the creation, this room is automatically added to the sheet.

Example 2: Public area must be cleaned every two hours.

Using the TSE, every two hours, you create and activate a new task sheet with fresh tasks.

Using the DTSE, the software automatically creates new tasks two hours after completion of the previous task, ensuring that the coordinator will only have to create one task sheet a day and that the room attendant can work from one task sheet on their device.

Note: Although you can use the same task sheet sets from the TSE in the DTSE, it is recommended that the filters are adjusted for better use of the features.

Note: Configure a maximum count to limit the number of automatically generated tasks.
