Accessing a line in the Budgeting Dashboard

From the Budgeting Dashboard, you can access individual budget lines in the budget tree.

1. In the upper-left corner of the screen, select Access your applications (  ).
   The menu expands.

2. Select Financial > Budgeting.
   The Budgeting Dashboard screen appears.

3. In the left pane, double-click a line.
   The Budget Tree screen opens to the selected line in the budget tree structure. The section of the budget structure appears partially expanded to display all totals at the same level in the tree menu. It does not show the detail lines at the lowest level of each tree. 

   Note: When you access a budget line from the Budgeting Dashboard, you can view only the area of the budget structure that is contained in the selected line. Then once you’re in the Budget Tree, the only thing that you can do is move between top-level lines.

   Tip: To edit, double-click a line and make changes in the Edit Budget Line dialog box.
