Actual KBI Mapping screen

Use the Actual KBI Mapping screen to map KBI data collected from external reports to relevant KBIs that are already configured in the Unifocus software.

Fields on the Actual KBI Mapping screen

1	Mapped KBIs pane
	Type	Filter the Mapped KBIs list to display: All KBIs—Includes all KBIs. Calculated KBIs—Created using algebraic formulas and existing KBIs to calculate a value. Separate KBIs—Possess a different configuration for Labor screens than for Budgeting screens. Input KBIs—Define factors that are not forecast by Labor but need to be available for use in calculated or statistical KBIs. Input KBIs are not dependent upon, or related to, any other KBIs. Percent of Base KBIs—Calculated based on the relationship between itself and another KBI. Statistical KBIs—Use statistical (regression) formulas to forecast future business volumes by analyzing historical information. Primary KBIs—Configured as a primary KBI in Budgeting. These KBIs appear in the Budgeting KBI Projections screen for Market Segments and Revenue Centers. Non-Primary KBIs—Not configured as anon-primary KBI in Budgeting. These KBIs do not appear in the Budgeting KBI Projections screen for Market Segments and Revenue Centers.
	Search	Search the list for an existing mapped KBI. The table automatically updates to meet the search criteria.
	Mapped KBIs list	Name and code of KBIs that are mapped to a revenue center.
	Add KBI	Opens the Add KBI Mapping dialog box in Actual KBI Mappings where you can map a KBI to a revenue center. This allows actual data to flow to Labor and/or Budgeting. For example, if you have a revenue line for Breakfast, you can associate the line with the Breakfast KBI so that when you enter data from external systems, the data is flowed to the appropriate Actuals field for the Breakfast KBI.
	Exclude KBI	Deletes all mappings and removes the selected KBI from the list. Note: You cannot exclude a KBI that contains revenue data.
	Right pane
	View Imported Data	Opens a separate tab where you can view imported revenue data.
2	Details	Expand this section to add, edit, or remove a revenue center period mapping.
	Map to RC Period	If selected, the Map to Revenue Center configuration options appear.	You must select this check box to map a revenue center period to the KBI.
	Path	Opens a drop-down list where you select the revenue center period that you want to map the KBI to.
	Revenue Center Period Info	Displays start times and end times for each day of the week in the selected revenue center period.	Required.
	Ignore RC Period Times	If selected, flow data is imported for the entire day, rather than only for the time range of the revenue center period.
	Include Flow Plan	If selected, flow data is imported into KBIs that are mapped to the revenue center period and the selected flow plan.
	Flow Plan	Opens a drop-down list where you select the flow plan that you want to include. For more information, see Flow Plans.	If Include Flow Plan is selected, this field is required.
3	Mapped Lines	Use this section to add, edit, or delete mapping lines.
	Add Line	Adds a line to the table where you determine which lines of data from the source report will flow to the mapped KBI.
	View Daily Values	Opens the View Daily Values screen. The screen is automatically filtered to display values for the KBI you selected on the Actual KBI Mapping screen.
	Mapping lines table	Displays lines of data from the source report that flow to the mapped KBI. You can edit details directly in the table.
