Add Tip Pool Type dialog box
Tip pools are a collection of tip-based earnings that you can distribute among employees based on various factors, such as the job or number of hours worked. You can create a new Tip Pool Type by selecting Add Tip Pool Type (
) on the Tip Pool Types screen.

Name |

Choose whether earnings are calculated daily, weekly, or by pay period. |

In House Percent |
Enter the percentage of total earnings that is kept by the property. This percentage of the pool will not be distributed to employees. |

Distribution Mode |
Choose whether earnings are calculated based on a set percentage or a total number of units. |
Default: Percentage |

Time Ranged |
If selected, only employees who worked a minimum number of hours during the specified time range are eligible to receive tips from the pool. If cleared, all employees in the employee set are eligible to receive tips from the pool. |

Closes the dialog box without applying your changes. |

Applies your changes and closes the dialog box. |
