Completing a work order

You must complete a work order that has been finished. Completing a work order formally finalizes the maintenance task and documents that the work order has been finished, ensuring accurate record-keeping, accountability, and tracking of maintenance history.

  1. From the main menu on the left side of the screen, select the Maintenance ( ) option. The Work Order Console appears.

  1. If necessary, use the search and filter options to find the work order.

  2. Select the checkbox in the row of the work order that you want to complete.
    The action menu appears in the lower-right corner of the console.

  3. In the action menu, select the complete ( ) button.
    The Complete dialog box appears.

  4. Complete the fields as necessary.

  5. Select Submit.
