Property Permissions tab of User Administration

Use the Property Permissions tab to determine which levels of access a user has to various databases and/or properties. For more information on the three levels of property permissions that can be assigned, see User types and permissions.

The Properties Permissions tab is available only in the Manage Users (  ) view.

Field Description Notes
Controls

Add another database

Add a database to the table. Once the selected database is added, you can grant the user permissions to the database or to individual properties in the database.


Remove selected database

Remove the selected database from the table. All permissions within the database are revoked.

This control is enabled only if a database is selected.

Search

Enter a permission in the field. The table updates to match your selection.


Table

Client Level

This tree menu displays all databases (  ) and properties (  ). Expand the tree menu to grant permissions to the selected user.

A group icon (  ) appears next to permissions that were inherited from the group.


All Properties Admin

Grant the user access to all screens for all properties within the database.


Can access

Grant the user access to specified screens for the selected properties, based on other configured permissions.

Note: The screens that the user can view and the actions they can perform are determined by configurations made in other User Administration tabs. Unifocus recommends assigning a user to a group first and then making any necessary adjustments to the user's individual permissions at the user level. For more information on completing user configuration, see Process Roadmap: Creating a user.


Property Admin

Grant the user access to all screens for the selected property.
