Understanding the Service workflow

The process below explains the general progression of a job in Service.

  1. Job registration—Jobs can be created by manually providing details, setting up auto jobs via the Auto Jobs Manager, copying from Glitch, or scheduling recurring maintenance.

  2. Job delivery—The job is assigned to an employee based on their skill, availability, department, or location.

  3. Job execution—At this stage, you can add attachments, enter remarks, or extend the time needed to complete the job.

  4. Job closure—The status of the job changes. If the job was completed successfully, you can close the job. Otherwise, you can park the job to be completed later, reset the job, or reassign the job to another employee.

  5. System update—After you change the status of a job, you can refresh the Job console to view the updated status.
