Updating an interface

To update an interface, you update the class file and/or the configuration options. 

Remember: You can load only one interface file per interface type. For example, if you add the Export Schedules interface type to your list and then load an interface file for that type, you cannot load another Export Schedules file. The Export Schedules interface type will no longer be available in the Add Interface dialog box.

If necessary, update the interface file from your computer or network.

1. In the upper-left corner of the screen, select Access your applications (  ).
   The menu expands.

2. Select Setup > Interfaces.
   The Interfaces screen appears.

3. If necessary, in the Interfaces List section, select the interface type that is associated with the interface file that you want to reload.
   The details section updates with the interface file that is associated with the selected interface type.

4. Select Load Script.
   A file manager window opens.

5. Select the interface file on your computer.
   The file loads, and the file name appears next to the Script label.

6. (Optional) In the Run as section, select one or both of the following options:

   • RMS Interface—The file is run directly from RMS.

   • Connect Interface—The file is sent from the automated Connect application.

7. If necessary, complete additional fields.
