This page describes the shared navigation, UI options, and Welcome Page for Unifocus software products.

Note: If there are available messages or notes from Unifocus, they appear in a system notification section (  ) below the Most Used section. For example, you might see a message like System maintenance on Saturday. Click the X to close the message window.

Access your applications

Opens the main menu pane, which provides access to Unifocus software products, modules, and screens to which you have access.

Tab(s)

There is a tab for each screen.

Most used applications

Unifocus modules that are most commonly used.

You can quickly access the parts of the application that you use the most.

Recently closed applications

Modules that were recently closed.

For example, if you are a scheduling manager, the Review Pay Period screen might be a recently closed application.

Order of apps: Most recently closed app appears at the top of the list

Help

Drop-down menu provides links to the following user assistance:

  • Quick Reference Videos

  • Online Help

  • Release Notes

  • Support

  • Training

User details and sign-out option.

Alerts

Opens the Alerts pane, which displays all configured alerts.

Alerts are currently only available for RMS.

Full screen mode

This setting is ideal if you are opening Unifocus software in a mobile device. Full screen mode cleans up screen space and optimizes the workspace, removing unused screen space.

To return to normal viewing, select collapse ( ).

Open tabs

Once open tabs reach the horizontal limit on the main screen, additional open tabs are moved to a drop-down menu. The number indicates how many additional, open tabs are in the drop-down menu. Select the arrow to display the drop-down list:

Refresh this Tab

Refreshes the selected tab.

Important: When working in a web browser, make sure to refresh your tab using this Unifocus software tab refresh button (  ), not the web browser refresh button, which is usually located next to the address bar in the browser. Refreshing the browser will reload data in all open tabs, and any unsaved data will be lost.

View My Processes

Displays background tasks that are running.

When you hover the mouse pointer over the bar, a tooltip indicates the number of running background tasks. Select View My Processes to go to the My Processes screen. For more information, see My Processes.

My Processes is currently only available for RMS.
