Working with Shift Requests
Use the Shift Requests screen to approve, change, cancel, or deny requests related to employee shifts. The following actions can be performed from the Shift Requests screen:

Give Away—Give a shift to a different employee.

Pickup—Remove the shift from the employee's schedule and make it available for others to pick up.

Urgent Pickup—Remove the shift from the employee's schedule and send an immediate pickup request to one or more specified employees.

Swap—Trade shifts between two employees.

Drop—Cancel a shift for an employee.

Employee Selection—Select an employee to pick up an open shift.
Managers can rearrange employees schedules based on when they are scheduled for a shift. Once a request is responded to, the schedule for the employee is immediately updated.
Note: If a change is made to a Shift Request, the employee will be notified of the change via the Unifocus Mobile App.
