Unifocus Mobile App Change Log
The Unifocus Mobile App is being redesigned to provide enhanced functionality and an improved user experience. This page provides detailed descriptions of the key changes to the mobile screens.
Overall enhancements to these screens include the following:

The general screen designs and color schemes have been updated to provide a modern look and feel and an improved user experience.

Screen-level navigation buttons have been moved to the bottom of screens so that screen-specific information is more prominent and navigation options are easier to select with one thumb.

Screens now include select all / clear all checkboxes for easier batch selections.

Buttons are now reactive, that is, their appearance changes based on performed actions.

This release includes improvements upon the redesigned Peer Schedules screen in My Schedule, which was released on January 15, 2025. The following improvements provide managers and administrative users with greater control over job visibility and enhancing user interaction with peer scheduling information:

Job filter customization—Administrative users can now specify which jobs appear in peer schedules through a new Peer Schedules Job Filter added to the Mobile Configuration screen. This filter allows selection among three settings:

Jobs Only—Show only jobs (job codes) that match the employee's. This is the default setting.

Jobs/Departments—Show only jobs (job codes) that match the employee's and also jobs within the same department as those jobs
-
All Jobs—Shows all jobs at the property.

The following improvements are designed to make scheduling more intuitive and user-friendly, allowing employees to efficiently manage and interact with their schedules and those of their peers.

Enhanced Peer Schedules user interface

A new Select Job dialog box enables employees to choose specific jobs for viewing schedules, enhancing focus and reducing clutter.

The Peer Schedules screen now displays schedules in a grid format, where shifts are shown as buttons. Selecting a shift pulls up a detailed drawer at the bottom of the screen with comprehensive shift details.

Peer schedules can now be viewed on days when employees are off.

Improved navigation and accessibility

The Peer Schedules screen includes a job filter and a date selector to refine the display of schedules according to specific jobs and dates.

Employees will see shifts for the selected job and date, displayed in a clear and organized manner, with all shifts starting on the chosen date available for easy viewing.

Weekly Availability

The green plus (+) button has been removed.

The landing screen now includes collapsible / expandable sections for each day of the week.

The legacy screen displayed only the current availability. You selected the Edit button to edit your availability schedule. The Weekly Availability screen now includes two tabs: Current and Request. The Current tab displays your current availability schedule. The Request tab includes options for editing your availability schedule or canceling a request.

This release includes user interface (UI) and user experience improvements to the following Unifocus Mobile App screens: My Call Ins, My Shift Requests, and My Schedule.
My Schedule

The My Schedule screen is now used to create new call-ins and shift requests.

The shift card job notes include collapsible / expandable sections that display full job names with the complete labor structure.

If shifts are associated with events, information for the events appears in the shift cards.

A filter option appears in the upper-right corner of the screen.

The Give Away Shift screen now features a select-all option for selecting all available employees.
-
The Peer Schedules screen now displays peers with overlapping shifts for the selected shift and job.

The Select Open Shift screen now displays the employee’s shift and the open shifts for a specific job. Also, similar shifts are now grouped together.
My Call Ins

The My Call Ins screen is now used to view and manage existing call-in requests. You create new call-in requests from the My Schedule screen.

The green plus (+) button has been removed.

The Attendance Points section displays the total number of attendance points. Points are no longer displayed in a badge icon. You can now filter which attendance points to display.

If shifts are associated with events, the names of events appear in the shift cards.

Identical open shifts are now grouped together.
My Shift Requests

The My Shift Request screen is now used to view and manage existing shift requests. You create new shift requests from the My Schedule screen.

The green plus (+) button has been removed.

The shift card job notes include collapsible / expandable sections that display full job names with the complete labor structure.

If shifts are associated with events, information for the events appears in the shift cards. Also, shift notes (from both managers and employees) are included in the Notes section.

The screen includes a Waiting on Others tab.

The screen includes an option to view rejected requests.
