Assignments tab of Employee Maintenance

Use the Assignments tab on the Employee Maintenance screen to add assignments for which an employee is authorized to work. Assignments are used to segment out the various tasks and/or location of certain jobs within your company's labor structure. For example, if the job is Cook, assignments could be Line Cook, Prep Cook, and Pasty Chef. Assignments can also be used to specify a location, such as East Tower, West Tower, or Section 1, Section 2, or Section 3.

All possible assignments that you configured for the job during the labor structure configuration process are listed in the assignments table. By default, an employee cannot work an assignment until you specify which assignments the employee can work.

If an employee is working a cross-property assignment, the property code will be displayed in parentheses in front of the assignment name.

Note: Manually enter and update assignment information for employees on the Assignments tab. Information on this tab is not affected or overwritten by imported interfaces.
