Parking a work order
You park a work order to put it on hold so that it can be completed later.

From the main menu on the left side of the screen, select the Maintenance (
) option. The Work Order Console appears.

If necessary, use the search and filter options to find the work order.

Do one of the following:

To select from the vertical ellipsis (
) menu:

Select the row of the work order that you want to park.
The work order details pane opens. -
In the upper-right corner of the pane, select the vertical ellipsis (
) button.

From the drop-down list, select Park.
The Park dialog box appears.

To select from the action menu:

Select the checkbox in the row of the work order that you want to part.
The action menu appears in the lower-right corner of the console. -
In the action menu, select the park (
) button.
The Park dialog box appears.

From the reason drop-down list, select the reason for parking the work order.

In the Reopen on fields, select the future date and time when the work order should be completed.

(Optional) In the Remarks field, enter notes about the parked work order.

Select one of the following options:

Auto Assign—When selected while parking a work order, the software checks for available technicians based on the reopen time. If a match is found, the work order is assigned automatically. If not, it moves to the Unassigned Queue.

Assign to same staff—Assigns the work order to the same staff member.

Manual assignment—Opens the Select Staff dialog box where you can assign the parked work order to a different staff member. For more information, see Assigning a work order in Maintenance.

Select Save.
A confirmation dialog box appears. -
Select OK.
The work order is now In Progress.Note: The work order is now available to be reparked, if necessary. The option in the vertical ellipsis menu (
) is now Repark.
