Selecting views on The Timeline Scheduling screen |
Using dual-timeline view, select Job view in the top view and Work Content view in the bottom view. In the Job view you can see all of the system-planned shifts that were created to accomplish the work. There is no work displayed in the Work Content view as it was all distributed to the planned shifts seen in the Job view. |

Manage shifts. |
The system-planned shifts are the recommended number of shifts necessary to complete the work content. However, you might want to use different shifts. In the Job and Employee views, you can add, delete, or edit shifts to arrive at the manager's planned shifts. In the Work Content view, you can create shifts based on system recommendations.

Once you have determined the shifts in your plan and deleted any unwanted shifts, you must redistribute the work content to your plan. When the process finishes, any work content that could not be distributed to your planned shifts will be displayed in the Work Content view. If there is undistributed work, you might want to add additional shifts and repeat the process until all work content can be distributed to your planned shifts. |
Before you redistribute work content, you must delete unwanted shifts to ensure that work content is not distributed to them. |
|
5 |
After you have redistributed work content, you are ready to analyze your plan. Evaluate your plan compared to the system plan using the provided statistics of shift hours, distributed hours, and undistributed hours. |
