Improvement

Improvement in System Configuration for Service

This Service release introduces Ongoing Job event to Alert Manager, allowing you to trigger alerts based on job progress. You can now set alerts for specific percentages of Maximum Response Time (MRT) to stay informed of key milestones during job completion.

New Feature

Benchmarking in Service Analytics

This release of Service Analytics introduces a Benchmarking tab, which compares property performance based on guest job data. Benchmarking helps identify areas for improvement and set performance goals, with key metrics such as service request volume, escalation rates, guest job registration density, total guest jobs vs delayed, guest job performance (for example, parked, reopened, open, and SNL jobs), and peak hour analysis.

With Benchmarking, you can do the following:

  • View operational KPIs.

  • View and interact with charts for various metrics.

  • Customize charts.

  • Add, edit, and delete scheduled notifications from the calendar () icon.

  • Export the view as an image, PDF, or Excel file from the export () icon.

Multilingual support in Message Format screen

This release allows users to view events in their preferred language.
The language selection option is available in the English () drop-down on the Message Format screen.

New Feature

Simultaneously mapping all job descriptions

In this release of Service, the Job Manager includes a Map icon and a drop-down menu that allow you to map all job descriptions at once.

The drop-down menu displays two options:

  • Map All

  • Multi Map (up to 25 job descriptions)

New Feature

Guest Directory icon added to Guest Module

In this release of Service, the Guest module now displays the Guest Directory icon (), which enables you to search guests across their entire guest data.

Improvement

Enhancement to room status icons in the Guests module

In this release of Service, the Guest module room status icons changed from a circle to a rectangle:

  • Red Rectangle ()

  • Green Rectangle ()

  • Blue Rectangle ()

  • Yellow Rectangle ()

  • Outlined Rectangle ()

  • Outlined Rectangle ()

Improvement

Room status icons added to Guests module

In this release of Service, the Guest module now displays the following room statuses and color-coded icons for all the assigned rooms:

  • Red Circle () (Dirty)

  • Green Circle () (Inspected)

  • Blue Circle () (Clean)

  • Yellow Circle () (Pickup)

  • Outlined Circle () (Out of Order)

  • Outlined Red Circle () (Out of Service).

The legends section has also been updated to provide the graphics and definitions for each icon.

New Features

Drill-through and maximization functionality in Service Dashboard

This release of the Service Analytics includes the following new features:

  • Drill-through functionality in charts—Clicking a chart element (bar, pie slice, line, and so on) opens a table with more details and information related to that specific data point in the chart.

  • Maximization of charts—When right-clicking a chart, the resulting context menu now includes a Maximize () option that expands the selected chart to a full-screen view. Right-clicking and selecting the Restore Down () option returns the chart to its original, minimized view.

Improvements to Job Console and User Console screens

This release includes improvements to the Job Console screen in Service and the User Console screen in System Configuration:

  • Job Console

    • The screen now displays priority information using different icons for each job priority.

    • You can now filter jobs by their priority.

    • Jobs can now be grouped based on their priority.

    • The screen includes a legend that displays the different job priority icons.

  • User Console

    • Corporate users can now share any property within a chain to any user directly from the User Console screen.

    • The screen can be used to assign roles for each shared property.

Service Dashboard

This release introduces the Service Dashboard, which provides at-a-glance information to enhance monitoring and decision-making for service management. The dashboard offers a unified view of crucial metrics and data, including guest room utilization, service demand, job description frequency with corresponding escalations, and departmental service dynamics. By providing these insights, the Service Dashboard enables more efficient resource allocation and scheduling.

You can access the Service Dashboard from a new Service Analytics menu option in the Service software.

With the Service Dashboard, you can do the following:

  • View operational KPIs.

  • View and interact with charts for various metrics.

  • Customize charts.

  • Add, edit, and delete scheduled notifications from the calendar () icon.

  • Export the view as an image, PDF, or Excel file from the export () icon.

Note: Service Dashboard is available only to users with Reports access. Users must have the Create Service Reports role enabled. For more information, contact your Unifocus Client Success Manager (CSM).

New modules in Glitch, Service, Maintenance, and System Configuration

This release includes the following new modules:

  • Glitch Recovery Options—Define recovery options and their associated costs.

  • Job Reset Manager—Set the maximum reset time for jobs, ensuring efficient job management within the software.

  • Property Details—View module configurations along with details like license keys, number of units allowed, validity, and status.

  • Maintenance - Auto Work Order Manager—Define rules and conditions for checklists configured at the property level. The software automatically generates work orders when the specified conditions are met.

  • Interface Management—Set up configurations according to the data received from PMS VIP codes, minibar items, locations, component rooms, and other information.

  • Currency Setup—Configure currency names and symbols for monetary amounts used throughout the application.

  • Group Manager—Manage groups by assigning multiple staff members.

  • Message Format—Customize message formats used in the alerts sent to different device types via the Service application.

  • Designation, Department and Skill—Use this module to configure designations, departments, and jobs within the software.

  • Quick Jobs—Use this module to streamline the configuration of job descriptions by placing frequently used jobs at the top of the department list.

Improvements, New Features

Job Manager, Service Action Reasons, Access Right Changes, and Maintenance improvements

This release includes the following new features and improvements:

  • Job Manager—The Job Manager is a new module designed to configure job categories and job descriptions for use in the Service software.

  • Service Action Reasons—Action reasons can be configured for Service jobs in the Job Manager.

  • Access Rights Changes—This release introduces a Corporate User toggle and the shift of access from Admin User to the new rights available in the role module. It is intended for administrators, IT personnel, and end-users who will be working with the updated access rights.

  • Maintenance improvements—The PM Console screen of the Maintenance software now includes new icons labeled Activate and Deactivate. These icons allow you to activate or deactivate multiple Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules according to your needs.

  • Rebranding of the Housekeeping mobile app.

  • System Configuration: Checklist upload in Housekeeping—import data.

  • Housekeeping Room Selection screen: Task sheet filters change—previous task type, time occupied, and time vacant.

  • Auto Job Manager.

  • Maintenance: Bulk flow, cancel option; print work order with images attached.

This release includes the following new features and enhancements:

  • The new Housekeeping Translation Manager, which enables you to translate content within the software to any licensed language.

  • Rebranding of Housekeeping and Inspection web applications.

  • Maintenance enhancements: extended park functionality, priority work orders, action reasons mapping, and email alerts.
