Task screens in the intelligent workflow
Labor Planning can be configured with an intelligent workflow that guides you through each step of the planning process as it pertains to your property.
Note: The available tasks are tailored to the specific needs of your organization. Some tasks might not be available to you while using the intelligent workflow.
This table provides an overview of the various tasks on the Planning screen.

Entering forecast environments | Inform the system of upcoming environments that will affect certain business levels (KBIs) on certain days. | |
Entering pre-work | Enter reservation book counts for market segment KBIs. The Unifocus forecasting engine uses these book counts to produce the forecast business volumes for the KBIs. | To ensure accurate forecasting, enter book counts at the same time each week. |
Importing forecast KBIs | Import forecast KBI values from an existing file. | |
Entering input KBI forecasts | Review and enter the forecast business volumes for KBIs that are not included in the Rooms and Revenue Center forecasting process. | |
Generating the rooms forecast | Produce a system-calculated forecast for market segments. | |
Editing the rooms forecast | Review, enter, and update the forecast business volumes for market segment KBIs. | |
Generating revenue center forecasts | Produce a system-calculated forecast for outlets such as restaurants, lounges, golf, and other revenue centers. | You must configure Revenue Centers to generate Revenue Center Forecasts. |
Working with the Edit Revenue Center screen | Review revenue center forecasts, apply forecast environments (if necessary), and override system forecasts with your own forecasts. | |
